Nintendo DS

I've always loved video games but was a little surprised when Mitch started to pretend play with a Nintendo DS at 2 and half years old.  It inspired me to get my real DS out of the closet to show him.  He was so excited to play and walked around the whole house with it.  We had MarioKart in and he wanted to be George (curious george the monkey) aka Donkey Kong.

Since then we have taken away the real DS because we didn't like the behavior that came with it.  Maybe in a couple years I'll have a buddy to play games with.

No baby food for Me

Molly wants nothing to do with mushy baby food.  She wants something she can pick up herself and eat.
Here she is eating a snap pea that she picked off of my plate

She did pretty good for having only 2 teeth.

New toy from Mimi

A new toy weed-wacker from Mimi.

Cheese face. "Mitch say Cheese"

Mitch had fun playing with his new toy and cried when we took it away for bed time.  He said he wanted to take it to sleep with him.  Since the toy makes noise we didn't want him to take it to bed.  He'll have to wait until the morning for more play time.  I fear he might wake up at 5am tomorrow asking for it.

Molly on the move

Molly has started moving around the house.
Here she is tangled up in her play mat.  As you can tell from her smile she is not bothered by the extra drag.

Walla Walla relaxation

In May we went to Walla Walla to visit the Myers and meet their newest family member born in January.

These pictures represent the relaxation achieved.
